Motor Vehicle Stop Leads To Heroin Bust: Wash. Twp. Police

A Hackettstown driver was arrested after police found he had heroin and other drugs during a motor vehicle stop, said authorities who charged him.

Andrew Collinson arrested and transported to Washington Township Police Headquarters where he was issued several drug charges and a summons for a cracked windshield, authorities said.

Andrew Collinson, 31, had heroin, marijuana, a hypodermic syringe and a prescription for medication that wasn't for him when Washington Township Police Officer Jason Hensleystopped him around 11:45 a.m. on March 27, Washington Township Police Lt. Douglas Compton said.

Collinson arrested and transported to Washington Township Police Headquarters where he was issued several drug charges and a summons for a cracked windshield, police said. 

He was later released with a pending court date in Washington Township Municipal Court.
